Shanghai Expo 2010: Almost ready

There’s still a little bit more than a month till the opening of Shanghai’s World Expo 2010, scheduled for May 1st. Many construction workers are still working to finish the pavilions that will receive up to 800,000 visitors every day, expecting a total of 70 million visitors till October 31, when the Expo will close its doors. The top photos show a digital illustration of what each countries pavilion is supposed to look like, and the bottom ones show the construction that has so far been done.
Experience Mobile Mobile
Mobile Mobile, is a massive sculpture made of re-cycled mobile phones that plays Choir of the Bells when you tweet it or message it, its like one big mobile orchestra. Dope.
Cue Vj hardware concept
Cue made of a software-hardware combo turns your laptop into a complete VJ system. The Main features are a 15,4″ Touchscreen and a linear moving Knob-fader. Certain areas of the screen represent information in context with the position of the knob-fader. Alterations with the knob-fader are displayed by movement, scaling and rotation of graphics. The visual jockey is able to mix loops, apply effects in an intuitive way as well as access a vast library.
JazzMutant Lemur Touch Screen Control Surface
Compared to the average laptop monitors, the Lemur’s panel is much brighter, contrasted and it offers a much wider viewing angle. Thus, you can always see what is on display, even under spotlights or in a critical lighting environment. The Lemur communicates with the host computer using Fast Ethernet connection, thanks to its built-in 100BaseT interface, this means that you can connect numerous computers and Lemurs on a local area network and make all of them party together.

The Aurora Watch Concept
The Aurora Watch uses a concept that doesn’t have an apparent dial. Rather than traditional hands, the Aurora will show you the hours and the minutes with beams of light.
